“love me on tuesday”
It was in living life with this philosophy that the message, in the phrase, began to reveal it’s true meaning to Shannon. Charlene had made up the phrase with no real reason for choosing Tuesday, she had just thought it sounded better than any other day and after all, the meaning went far beyond any day of the week. Her message was Unconditional Love. She wanted to make certain she never placed those unnecessary burdens on her children for such trivial things as she had seen so any people do before. It has done so much in strengthening Shannon’s character and in building an unbreakable bond between them that Shannon has now carried the phrase over in raising her children, see daughter, Jordan above. Shannon lives the message in the phrase with great sentiment and practices its philosophy with her family, friends and anyone open to the message.
Even though Shannon was originally unsure of just what it meant as she grew older and really understood it’s meaning in depth, “love me on tuesday” became a treasured phrase they practice every day of their lives so much so that . . . one day Shannon decided to turn the message into beautiful poetic words so others might be inspired to practice its philosophy as well. God has given us the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love with the most important being Love!
The beautiful poem embodies the philosophy of Unconditional Love. “There is so much stress on us everyday,” says Charlene, “We need to make a conscious effort to accept and forgive each other rather than rushing to judgment so quickly.” We hope this poem awakens the love within you and that you pass it on.
